Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, AL — Business and Enterprise Systems Product Innovation (BESPIN) held its second Engagement Day April 14th, both virtually and onsite at MGMWERX in Montgomery, AL, creating a consistent event for government and industry to have an established environment to communicate regarding each other’s services, capabilities, and technical solutions.
The BESPIN Engagement Day focused on identifying technology and/or services that are emerging or available for incorporation into the BESPIN ecosystem.
“The establishment of the engagement days sets aside dedicated time from our team to be available for open communication into our ecosystem…These engagements are vital to presenting a consistent voice of what BESPIN is and the value we are providing to the Air Force and Joint Service.”
– Lt. Col. Tyler Hough, BESPIN Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Engagements give BESPIN the ability to share how their production level capabilities and development efforts are helping communities of interest find a path to success. BESPIN has experts in development, security, and operations (DevSecOps), and delivering applications to CloudOne under their continuous authorization to operate (cATO).
“Overall, I would call the event a success. In the future, we hope that we can grow the event and have the ability for more 1-on-1 sessions with vendors”
– 2nd Lt. Matthew M. Murla, Engagement Day Lead, BESPIN Strategy and Business Operations.
Development of future BESPIN Engagement Days are already in the planning stages and will continue to be a collaborative environment focused on bringing innovative solutions to the Air Force and Joint Services.
BESPIN is a software solution center chartered to build the Air Force Mobile Center of Excellence and to scale CloudOne and mobile application development across the Air Force and Department of Defense.
